Meet Jessica – Founder of Hush

Hi, I’m Jessica! A fourth-generation Idaho native with 15 years as a licensed cosmetologist and a lifelong passion for all things beauty. Over the past year, I’ve expanded my expertise as a certified laser technician, bringing even more advanced services to my clients.

I created Hush as a place where beauty meets comfort—a space where you’re not just another client but a valued part of our community. My philosophy is rooted in self-expression—I believe beauty isn’t about fitting into a mold but embracing what makes you feel confident and uniquely you. Whether it’s hair, skin, or laser treatments, every service is designed to be a custom experience that enhances your natural beauty in a way that feels authentic.

With a deep love for ongoing education, I’m always learning new techniques and trends to bring the most up-to-date services to you. My goal is to provide a high-quality, personalized experience that helps you feel empowered, refreshed, and seen.

  • Getting laser hair removal will vary in cost, depending on the size of the treatment area, plus how many sessions are needed to get a smooth result. To put the cost of laser hair removal into perspective, think of the time and energy you are putting into shaving, waxing, or other temporary hair removal methods. This is why laser hair removal is typically cheaper ultimately and can save you time and energy in the long run. We will develop a personalized treatment plan with the number of appointments recommended and costs.

  • Follicles grow in cycles. When some hair follicles are in a live growing phase, others are resting. Since each hair follicle grows in various stages, multiple sessions are recommended to target each follicle when it is growing. It is recommended that you spread out your sessions over several weeks so you get the smoothest, most effective result.

  • The process of laser hair removal can cause minor discomfort, but it is not considered a painful procedure. Most patients will feel a small snap when the Harmony XL PRO handpiece targets and removes the follicle. Your technician may apply a numbing ointment to the surface of the skin before the start of your treatment. Patients who have been getting waxed report that laser hair removal feels much less discomfort than getting waxed.
